Marta Syrup
Marta Syrup is an multidisciplinary artist living in Philadelphia, PA. She originally got her start drawing comics under the pen name Miranda Stoat for the Philadelphia Secret Admirer from 2014 to 2015. Since then, she has published two comic books, as well as comic strips for various publications such as Fantology and Dirty Diamonds. She has contributed her artwork to various shows, including the traveling exhibition Queer Hanky Ecology Project. Marta is a two-time recipient of Creative Philadelphia’s Illuminate the Arts grant. She is also a self-taught tattoo artist, perfecting her craft out of her West Philadelphia home studio.
